Fine Mediterranean but some rain and windy in northern Europe
Thursday Fine through Spain and Portugal for Thursday with some lengthy spells of sunshine. Fine too in Italy with more sunshine to come here. A few showers could affect Greece and Turkey but most of the coastal resorts should be staying hot and sunny. A fair day for much of central and western France with good spells of sunshine. Rain in the Low Countries and Germany but fair weather in Poland and Hungary. Austria may have some thundery showers in the afternoon. Denmark will be wet with some heavy periods of rain. The Baltic States will be dry with sunny spells. Cooler for Finland with some showers here. Rain in southern Sweden, some of it heavy. Showers affecting the west of Norway.
Friday Another dry and fine day across Spain and Portugal for Friday with lots of sunshine and warm temperatures. It stays fine in the Balearics and through Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will have another fair day with lots of sunshine too. Greece should stay dry and sunny, although some showers affecting southern Turkey. Rain and string winds in northwest France but most of the country should be dry with good spells of sunshine. Cloudier over in the Low Countries with increasing winds but dry here until the evening. Germany will be dry and sunny whilst some showery rain affects central Poland. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland may experience a few showers. Showers will be affecting Sweden and the Baltic States. Finland will have further showers but some sunny spells too. Stronger winds and some rain arriving in western Norway later, a risk of gales overnight.
