A cold front brings cooler temperatures to the NW; triggering thunderstorms on Sunday
Showers affecting eastern parts of Spain on Saturday. Dry and bright to the west and for Portugal and the Balearics. Heavy, thundery showers for Corsica and Sardinia, these spreading to Italy through the afternoon. Dry, sunny and very warm for the Balkans, Greece and Turkey.
A mostly dry and fair day for much of western and central Europe on Saturday. Heavy, thundery showers for the Alps, southeastern France, Switzerland, western Austria and northern Germany. Isolated showers for northern France, the Low Countries and western Poland.
A mixture of broken cloud and sunny spells for Finland and the Baltic States on Saturday. Scattered showers for Denmark moving into southern Sweden later. A mostly dry day for much of Sweden with showers to the far north at times. Outbreaks of rain persist for southwestern Norway and western coastal regions of the country.
Showers affecting the far north of Spain, these heavy and thundery to the northeast. Elsewhere across Spain, Portugal and the Balearic Islands it's a dry, sunny and warm day. Thunderstorms continue for Corsica, Sardinia and Italy, these spreading to the northern Balkans too. The southern Balkans, Greece and Turkey see a dry, very warm and sunny day.
Scattered showers, sunny spells and cooler temperatures for France, the Low Countries and northwestern Germany. Thundery showers for southern Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and western Poland. Drier, brighter and warm for eastern Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.
Showery outbreaks of rain affecting Denmark, Norway and western Sweden on Sunday. Heavier, more persistent rain for western Sweden. Finland and the Baltic States should see a dry day with good spells of sunshine.
