A deep low brings increasingly wet and windy conditions to northwestern Europe
Another dry and fine day across Spain and Portugal for Friday with lots of sunshine and warm temperatures. It stays fine in the Balearics and through Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will have another fair day with lots of sunshine too. Greece should stay dry and sunny, although some showers affecting southern Turkey.
Rain and strong winds in northwest France but most of the country should be dry with good spells of sunshine. Cloudier over in the Low Countries with increasing winds but dry here until the evening. Germany will be mostly dry and sunny with just a few showers in the north whilst some showery rain affects central Poland. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland may also experience a few showers.
Showers will be affecting much of Sweden and the Baltic States. Finland will have further showers but some sunny spells too. Stronger winds and some rain arriving in western Norway later, a risk of gales overnight.
Continuing dry, warm and sunny across Portugal, Spain, the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and Italy on Saturday. Just the slight chance of a shower over Greece while thundery showers affect parts of Turkey.
Outbreaks of rain, some of them heavy, and strong winds affect the northern half of France, the Low Countries and northwestern parts of Germany on Saturday. Staying mostly dry but with increasing cloud for southern France, Switzerland, Austria, southeastern Germany and the Czech Republic. Heavy showers for eastern Poland.
Wet and windy for Denmark, southern Norway and southwestern Sweden into the weekend. Winds strengthening across Scandinavia too throughout the day. Showers affecting northern Sweden and much of Finland while the Baltic States stay dry and bright until showers move in later.
