A cold front sweeps across NW Europe bringing cooler temperatures & thunderstorms
Showers affecting the far north of Spain, these heavy and thundery to the northeast. Elsewhere across Spain, Portugal and the Balearic Islands it's a dry, fair and warm day. Thunderstorms continue for Corsica, Sardinia and Italy, these spreading to the northern Balkans too. The southern Balkans, Greece and Turkey see a dry, very warm and sunny day.
Scattered showers, sunny spells and cooler temperatures for France, the Low Countries and northwestern Germany. Thundery showers for southern Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and western Poland. Drier, brighter and warm for eastern Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.
Showery outbreaks of rain affecting Denmark, Norway and Sweden on Sunday. Heavier, more persistent rain for eastern Sweden. Finland and the Baltic States should see a dry day with good spells of sunshine.
A few showers linger over northeastern Spain and spread to the Balearic Islands on Monday. For the rest of Spain and Portugal it's a dry, sunny and warm day. Isolated showers linger over Corsica and Sardinia too while further heavy thundery showers affect Italy spreading to the Balkans and northwestern Greece. Across the rest of Greece and Turkey it's another sunny, very warm dry day.
A cool but mostly dry and bright day for France, Benelux and Germany. Isolated showers affecting the Low Countries and surrounding regions. Thunderstorms develop for Poland, the Czech Republic, southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland as a cold front sweeps through. Staying mostly dry and bright ahead of this for much of Slovakia and Hungary.
A bright day for Denmark with a scattering of showers while a rain, some of it heavy, sweeps through northern Sweden, Finland and the Baltics. A bright day for southern Sweden with outbreaks of rain for central areas. Brighter too for eastern Norway though western coasts could see persistent, and often heavy, rain.
