A wet & windy spell for northern France and the Low Countries on Saturday


Friday
Showers continuing across northern Spain through Friday though easing as the day goes on. Elsewhere in Iberia, and for the Balearics, it should be a mostly dry and sunny day. Scattered showers will affect Corsica, Sardinia and Italy. These will be most frequent over northern Italy. Greece and Turkey too will see scattered showers on Friday though there will also be a good deal of sunshine around here.
Continuing showery for France on Friday and these showers will spread eastward affecting the Low Countries, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic. Staying mostly dry, but dull, for Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.
A band of heavy rain will work northward across Denmark through the day while it should be mostly dry and sunny in the Baltics with just a few isolated showers. Showery rain will affect southern Finland while it should remain dry, bright and warm for much of Sweden. Showery for southern Norway through the morning and evening.

Saturday
A few isolated showers may linger over the far north of Spain on Saturday but across Iberia, the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia it should otherwise be a dry and sunny day. A bright day for Italy with a scattering of showers. Hazy sunshine for Greece and Turkey with cloud thickening enough through the afternoon for the odd shower or spot of rain to develop.
Saturday sees some bands of heavy rain working southeastward across France with showers following behind. It will be windy in the north. Windy and wet for the Low Countries too as an area of low pressure approaches from the UK. Showers will also affect Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic with some particularly heavy bursts around the Alps.
A band of heavy rain will develop through the day extending across southern Norway, northern Denmark and southern Sweden. Elsewhere it will be showery over southern Denmark and the Baltic States, mostly dry and bright for Finland and central and northern parts of Norway and Sweden.
