An unsettled spell of weather in the west; drier and brighter in the northeast
Tuesday will be somewhat overcast for southern parts of Portugal and Spain. It will be mostly dry and bright for central and northern parts of Portugal while it will be rather showery across Spain. Showers could merge to give longer spells of rain at times. Rather cloudy too for the Balearics with showers developing later. A showery day for Italy while it will start mostly dry and bright for Greece and Turkey before showers develop over northern Greece and southern Turkey later.
A band of rain will sweep southeastward across France on Tuesday leaving brighter skies but scattered blustery showers in its wake. Showers for the Low Countries too, some of these heavy at times. After a bright start, skies will cloud over for Germany from the west bringing showers to western areas. A mostly dry and bright day for Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland.
A bright start for Denmark will give way to a cloudy and wet afternoon while Finland and the Baltics will see a mostly dry and bright day on Tuesday. Mostly dry for Sweden too with the best of the brightness in the south. A few scattered snow showers for southern parts of Norway but otherwise a fine day here too.
Showers will continue for northern Spain through Wednesday, some of which will be wintry over the Pyrenees, but elsewhere in Iberia it should be a mostly dry and bright day. A chance of showers for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia though there will be some good sunny spells too. Another showery day for Italy and southwestern parts of Greece and Turkey too.
A wet day for France with some particularly heavy bursts of rain and snow in the southeast. Showers will affect Benelux throughout the day. A showery day for Germany too with some heavy bursts of rain in the southwest later. The Swiss Alps could see some heavy snowfall while Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland should stay mostly dry and bright.
Continuing showery for Denmark while the Baltic States will see a dry and bright day. Staying dry for Finland too though there will be some cloud around here. Some wintry showers around for southern Norway and central parts of Sweden but elsewhere it will be dry, if a little overcast at times.
