Low pressure bringing thundery rain to NW Europe at weekend.
Some showers affecting the north of Spain through Friday. Fine and hot for much of the rest of Iberia. More sunshine to come through the Balearics and across Corsica and Sardinia. Staying fine for most of Italy, although some showers may form in the far south. Greece and Turkey should be mostly dry with sunshine, just an odd coastal shower.
Some thundery rain reaching the far northwest of France. Rather cloudy but drier in other western areas. Sunnier in the east and staying fair in Switzerland as well. Sunshine and dry in the Low Countries and northern Germany. Scattered showers for Poland. Showers to come across Austria.
Denmark will be dry with lots of sunshine. Scattered showers in the Baltic States. Fair in Finland, sunny spells here. Sweden should be dry with plenty of sunshine. Fair for most of central and southern Norway, but some rain in the north.
Patchy rain across the far north of Spain on Saturday but largely dry and hot elsewhere here and across Portugal. The Balearic Islands as well as Sardinia and Corscia, Italy and Sicily will stay dry and fine and feeling hot. A few scattered showers across Greece but these should clear in the afternoon and push into Turkey.
Some thundery rain continuing to push across France, some heavy spells towards the east and across parts of the Low Countries and into Germany. Eastern areas of Germany will fair better with drier and sunnier weather. Largely dry for Poland too and much of eastern Europe as well as the Balkan States.
Denmark will be dry with lots of sunshine as well as the Baltic States. Fair too for Finland and Sweden, good sunny spells here. Fair for most of Norway, but some rain in the north and a few scattered showers centrally.
