Unsettled with showery heavy rain across north Europe

Saturday
Mostly dry and hot across the Iberian continent, however, far northern regions of Spain will see some patchy rain throughout the day. Mainly dry and fine across the Balearic Islands, Italy and Greece. Some scattered thundery showers for Turkey.
It starts off reasonably quiet across much of north and northwest Europe but outbreaks of heavy and thundery rain push from west to east across France into the Low Countries and western parts of Germany through Saturday. Rain and showers could be considerably heavy across the Alpine Countries. Eastern Germany staying mostly dry, although southern areas seeing thundery showers. Poland and the Balkan States staying dry, fine and warm.
A band of heavy rain will push northwards across southern Norway, Sweden and Finland. Further north it will be largely dry and fine with good spells of sunshine. Wet initially across the Baltic states but it is an improving day. Outbreaks of rain pushes across Denmark.

Sunday
A dry and hot across Spain and Portugal. Also dry and fine for the Balearics. Mostly dry and hot for Italy, however, one or two local showers cannot be completely ruled out. Dry, sunny and again hot for Greece. Dry across Turkey too.
Showery rain pushes across northern France, the Low Countries and Germany while southern regions of France stay mostly dry. Rain for a time across Switzerland and Austria but becoming drier here. Mostly dry across Poland but some showers developing later. Dry and hot down the Balkan States.
More mixed to unsettled across Scandinavia with outbreaks of rain, some heavy across parts of Sweden. Largely dry for Finland but a few scattered shower across southern regions. Heavy rain pushing for a time through the Baltic States. Showery rain affecting Denmark.
