Breezy with frequent wintry showers for northern parts of Europe


Monday
A band of rain spreads across northwestern Spain and northern Portugal but quickly dissipates as it moves into central Iberia. Staying dry and fine to the south and southeast. Patchy cloud for Italy but staying dry here. A dry and bright day for The Balkans, Greece and western Turkey. Cloudy for eastern Turkey with occasional wintry showers fading.
A band of heavy rain sinks south across central and southern parts of France and Germany, reaching Switzerland and western Austria later. Brighter conditions with scattered showers follow behind the rain for northern France, the Low Countries and northern Germany. Cloudy for Poland and the Czech Republic with occasional outbreaks of rain. Patchy cloud for eastern Austria with rain arriving later. Staying dry but with variable amounts of cloud for Slovakia and Hungary.
Cloudy with strong winds for Denmark, showers for western areas. Windy too for Finland and the Baltic States with rain clearing to the east. Occasional wintry showers follow for Finland. Breezy for southern parts of Norway and Sweden. Brighter here with scattered wintry showers.

Tuesday
Mostly dry and fair for Iberia - the best of the sunshine for Portugal and western Spain. Cloudier to the east with isolated showers to the southeast of Spain. A fair day for Italy too with good spells of sunshine, scattered showers to the far north. A mostly dry and sunny day for Greece and Turkey though there could be occasional showers to the far south.
Chilly but mostly bright with scattered showers for France, the Low Countries, Germany and Poland. Breezy to the north. Isolated showers for Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic but mostly dry and fair here. A dry and fine day for Slovakia and Hungary after early rain clears to the east.
A breezy day with frequent showers and outbreaks of rain for Denmark. Breezy too for the Baltic States with scattered showers. Isolated showers affect southern parts of Sweden and Finland though it is a mostly dry and fine day here. Dry and fine for eastern parts of Norway too while western areas see frequent outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow.
