Mostly dry for Scandinavia and the Med; thundery showers central Europe


Thursday
Heavy showers affecting northern and northeastern parts of Spain on Thursday. A mostly fair and dry day for the rest of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. Mostly dry, sunny and very warm for Italy, Greece and Turkey. A chance of a few showers developing over Corsica and Sardinia.
Showers affecting the far south of France and northern parts of the country too. Showers too, some of them heavy, for the Low Countries, northern parts of Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Austria and Slovakia. Drier and brighter for southern Germany and the Czech Republic.
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain for Denmark and the far south of Sweden. Elsewhere across Scandinavia and the Baltic region it should be mostly dry and fair. Just a chance of an isolated shower over western parts of Norway, northern Finland and into Latvia and Lithuania.


Friday
Showers clearing northeastern Spain to leave a very warm, mostly dry and sunny day here. Warm, dry and sunny too for Portugal and the Balearics. A few showers for central and northern parts of Italy - some of which may be heavy and thundery. Greece and Turkey seeing another hot, dry and bright day.
A few showers for eastern France first thing on Friday but these clearing to leave a dry and bright day across much of the country. Some heavy, thundery showers for the Low Countries, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Showers too, but these lighter, for Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
A few showers for Denmark and the Baltic States while much of Norway, Sweden and Finland should stay dry. Brighter to the west over Norway and Sweden with cloud building to the east over Finland and the Baltics.
