Warm southwest Iberia, mild too for eastern Europe

Monday
Unsettled weather across the west and central Mediterranean with areas of heavy rain and thundery downpours for the Balearics, also pushing into northwest Italy and southeast France, perhaps some eastern coasts of Spain. Some heavy rain near to southern Italy and western Greece too. Most of Spain and Portugal will be dry, warm in the southwest.
Quiet weather for northern France, the Low Countries and Germany. High pressure over eastern Europe maintains fair conditions for many areas. The Baltic region stays dry whilst a front coming in from the west brings rain to western Norway accomanpied by strong winds across much of northern Scandinavia.

Tuesday
Quiet weather across much of the continent as slack high pressure exists. Staying warm in southwest Spain and Portugal. Areas of heavy rain continue to affect the central Mediterranean, over the Balearics, Sardinia and the southern half of Italy. Greece should escape mainly dry, but a risk of local showers.
Areas of fog and low cloud for France, Germany and the Alps, but also some sunshine. Mild air from the south wafts across eastern countries into Poland, with high pressure centred toward the east. Extensively dry from the Black Sea to the Baltic. A southwesterly wind influences Scandinavia, with rain for western Norway, but mainly dry for Sweden and Finland.
