Wind and rain in the north but drier to the south


Tuesday
Into Tuesday and high pressure is expected to extend from Portugal and Spain, up into France and eastwards through towards Switzerland, many central countries of Europe and then eastwards towards Poland and even into western areas of Russia too.
Lower pressure will some showers will likely continue to affect parts of Italy and more particularly across Greece and surrounding countries. Milder and unsettled conditions are expected across the British Isles. The coldest weather is expected across parts of Finland where some very low minimum temperatures may well be experienced.


Wednesday
Rain in the far northwest of Spain. Fine elsewhere in Iberia with some good spells of sunshine. Fair in the Balearics and Italy with sunny spells here. Mostly dry in Greece although feeling chilly in the east. Cool in Turkey with sunny spells to the west, although rain in the east of Turkey and this affecting Cyprus too.
France will have wind and rain to the north and west. This wind and rain also affecting the Low Countries and northern Germany, the rain becoming heavy at times. Poland will be windy with broken cloud. Staying mild with breezy conditions and sunny spells in Hungary. Austria and Switzerland as well.
Wind and heavy rain affects Denmark. Staying windy with a risk of gales in the baltic States and rain here too. Further wind and rain in Finland and Sweden, some of this heavy. Further periods of heavy rain and sleet and staying windy across southern Norway.
