Very warm and sunny weather continues across the Med, cooler and showery further north

Friday
Dry, sunny and warm in Spain and Portugal with some prolonged spells of sunshine. Fine weather extends across many central and eastern areas of Med through the day, with bright or sunny spells forecast in Italy Italy, where it will also be very warm, with similar conditions extending eastwards towards Greece Greece and surrounding countries.
Rather cloudy conditions across France France, with some showery conditions, otherwise pleasant enough with some sunny spells and warm temperatures. A fine day in the Low Countries with more sunshine to come here. Scattered showers across eastern and southern Germany. Showers also affecting Poland, these mostly well scattered. Mainly fair weather though is forecast across much of Scandinavia, with bright or sunny spells and just a few isolated showers.
Cloudier skies in Great Britain with outbreaks of rain across more northern and western regions, but still with some fair weather across parts of the south and east and pleasantly warm here too.

Saturday
Mainly dry with some sunny spells and pleasantly warm across Spain and Portugal Portugal still into Saturday as the fine and very warm, if not locally hot conditions continue here. Indeed, much of the Med will be mainly dry with some bright or sunny spells and pleasantly warm as well, with plenty of sunshine in places.
Some rain is forecast across more eastern areas of Europe, perhaps with some thundery downpours and heavy showers for parts of the far east of Europe, perhaps especially for Moldova and also into some western areas of Russia, for example too. Still quite warm across Eastern areas of Europe as well.
Denmark will have a fair day with some sunny spells and it will be dry. Staying mainly dry in Sweden too with some sunny spells, but a few scattered showers can't be ruled out.
