Heavy thundery showers in central Europe, sunny and hot Spain
Fair for most of Spain and Portugal, although some cloud and showers in northern Spain. The Mediterranean is going to be staying mostly fair with good spells of sunshine. Italy will have lots of sunshine and dry conditions, although some showers in central and northern areas. Scattered showers over Greece as well as Turkey.
More unsettled in central parts of Europe with showers here, some of them heavy at times. Bands of showers will be moving from west to east. The heaviest of the showers in Germany and Switzerland where there may be thunderstorms.
Denmark will have some showers, but also a few sunny spells. Further cloud and some rain in the Baltic States. Showers for Finland, a few of them heavy. Unsettled over Sweden and southern and central Norway with a risk of some heavy showers. Drier in the north of Norway and Sweden although a chance of showers on Norwegian coasts.
Hot through Spain and Portugal with plenty of sunshine. Remaining hot and dry as well as sunny in the Balearics too. Some heavy, thundery showers or longer spells of rain affecting Italy, most rainfall in central areas. Greece should be mostly dry with sunshine. Turkey stays dry in most areas although some showers around the northwest.
France should be dry with sunny spells for most, some cloud and rain in the far east. The Low Countries will be fair with sunshine. Germany will have showers, some of them heavy. Poland will have some heavy thunderstorms in the east, more isolated showers in the west. Rain, heavy and thundery in much of Hungary as well as through Austria and Switzerland.
Fair for Denmark with sunny spells. The Baltic States will be dry with some sunshine too. Finland will be dry with sunny spells. Scattered showers in southern Sweden, dry in the north with sunshine. Showers for southern Norway but fair in central and northern parts of Norway.
