High pressure over Europe this weekend brings mostly fair weather
A largely dry and fine day today across Spain and Portugal as high pressure takes over. The Balearics will also be dry and fine. Rain and showers expected across much of Italy with at times some heavy pulses of rain. Dry with sunny spells across Greece and Turkey.
Any showery rain in the morning across France and the Low Countries will soon ease off and it will brighten up for many. Some showery rain also expected across parts of Germany, this easing through the afternoon, though coastal areas are expected to stay cloudy and damp. Far eastern areas of Poland are wet with spells of rain, some heavy. Drier elsewhere. Heavy rain affecting the Balkan States as well as Hungary.
Showery rain affecting Denmark with blustery winds around coasts here. Rather cloudy with some drizzly rain for the Baltics, though further inland should be dry here. Heavy rain across Finland with gusty winds. Largely dry yet likely rather cloudy across Sweden and Norway.
A dry and fine day across Spain and Portugal with sunny spells as well as across the Balearics. Showery rain will push south down through Italy with dry and sunny weather further north. A few showers also to affect Sicily. Much of Greece will be dry, though the Balkans will see some heavy showers. Dry and fine across Turkey.
Dry and fine across France, the Low Countries as well as Austria, Switzerland and Germany thanks to high pressure. Rain across some eastern countries in the morning should largely clear from the west through the day, though Hungary will continue to stay wet and unsettled.
A fine and relatively mild day across Denmark. Dry and fair across the Baltics also. Some showers in central Finland, otherwise dry here. Dry and fine across Sweden. Rain moving in to southwest Norway otherwise dry here with sunny spells.
