Thundery rain central Mediterranean, fine in central Europe


Thursday
Largely dry across Portugal and Spain. Again the Balearics will see some rain through the morning, perhaps though a brighter afternoon. Heavy rain across parts of Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily. Largely dry through Italy, although western coasts may be cloudy. Largely dry and fine through Greece and Turkey.
Outbreaks of rain pushing in on to the far southeast corner of France but dry elsewhere. High pressure sits over northern and central Europe bringing a dry and fine day once again to most countries. Breezier across Poland's sea coasts though.
Breezy with broken cloud and perhaps some light rain and drizzle across Denmark. Windy across Scandinavia as it is dominated by low pressure here. Rain, sleet and snow through north Norway. Largely dry across Sweden and Finland but some rain down the Baltic States.


Friday
Plenty of sunshine to come across Spain and Portugal. Some rain and showers, a few heavy in the Balearics. More persistent rain in Corsica and Sardinia. Further rain in southern Italy, but dry with some sunshine in central and northern Italy. Greece and Turkey will be dry with plenty of sunshine.
Rain and wind in the far north of France, showers in the west. Drier in southern and eastern parts of France with sunny spells. Germany and Poland will be dry with sunny spells here. More sunshine and dry weather in Hungary and Austria and well as most of Switzerland.
Denmark should be dry with broken coud and some sunny spells. Dry and bright in the Baltic States. Windy for Finland with a few showers here. Dry with some sunny spells for Sweden. Norway sees some rain in the far south, showers to the north.
