Wind, rain and showers to the north, better in central and southern areas

Tuesday
High pressure extends across central and southwestern Europe bringing extensive dry and fine autumn weather. Lots of warm sunshine for Spain and Portugal, risk of local showers around the Balearics. Chance of a shower too for Sicily and Sardinia, otherwise Italy will by dry.
A scattering of showers for Romania and near the Black Sea coast of Turkey, but Greece should be generally dry. Previous showers clear from Poland to leave a bright and breezy day.
Fine with light winds for France, Germany and the Alps. Some morning fog patches. Breezier for the Low Countries and Denmark. Rain moves into Norway from the west and turns heavy as southwesterly winds strengthen toward gale force. Dry most of the day for Sweden and the Baltic region. Areas of showery rain inland across Finland.

Wednesday
Cloud and some patchy rain in northwest Spain. Showers in southeastern Spain too but fair elsewhere. The Balearics should be dry with sunshine. Mostly dry too in Corsica and Sardinia. Fine for Italy and warm too with lots of sunshine. A few showers in western Greece. Dry and sunny for Turkey.
Fair for most of France with sunshine but some cloud in the north. Outbreaks of rain the the Low Countries, turning breezy in northern Germany with some rain here. fair for the south of Germany with sunny spells. Poland will be breezy but fair with sunny spells. Hungary, Austria and Switzerland will be staying dry with lots of sunshine and will be warm too.
Windy with showery rain in Denmark. Breezy again for the Baltic States and rather cloudy. Outbreaks of rain for Finland. Windy with gales in southern Sweden where there will also be rain. Widespread gales for the southern half of Norway, some heavy rain.
