Heavy showers and rain affecting many regions of Europe by the end of the week
Thursday Heavy showers and strong winds affecting northern Spain today. A few showers in mid Spain too but mostly fair in the south and east. Fair for the Balearics with sunny spells. Some showers in northern Italy but fair to the south with sunny spells, Greece and Turkey will be fine too with more sunshine here throughout the day. Heavy showers and strong winds in much of France but particularly the west. Heavy and thundery rain affecting the Low Countries and the western half of Germany. Fair for eastern Germany and also through Poland. Hungary and Austria should be dry and fair. Heavy showers for Switzerland. Breezy and becoming wet in Denmark. Fine for Sweden and breezy here. Fair too in the Baltic States and feeling warm. Fine for Finland with sunshine and warm temperatures. Norway will be wet and unsettled throughout.
Friday Less windy and wet across Spain and Poland though showers are likely to still affect northen regions here. Showery rain clearing the Balearics through the day. Heavy showers as well as longer spells of rain across northern parts of Italy into central areas including affecting Corsica and Sardinia. Southern Italy and Sicily should stay dry andf fine. Dry and sunny across Greece and Turkey. Heavy showers and blustery winds across much of France. An unsettled day also across the Low Countries and Germany with heavy showers as well as longer spells of rain. These later pushing in across Poland, Czechia into parts of Slovenia and Hungary. Heavy showers also affecting Austria and Switzerland. Breezy and wet again in Denmark. Showery rain also affecting the Baltics. Rain clearing much of southern Norway and Sweden though affecting norther areas. Largely dry yet windy across Finland.
