Wet and windy in the north with widespread gales, dry to the south

Thursday
Rain for northwest Portugal and Spain. Fair elsewhere with sunny spells. A fair day in the Mediterranean. Some showers oin northern Italy but fair for most. Fair for Greece with sunny spells and staying fine in most of Turkey.
Wind and rain in much of France, a risk of gales. Rain and gales too in the Low Countries. Germany is likely to be windy and mild. Breezy for Poland, some rain in northern areas. Hungary and Austria should be fair whilst coud increases in Switzerland.
Rain later in Denmark otherwise the day is dry. Cloud and some rain in the Baltic States and this may affect Sweden as well. Finland will be dry with broken cloud, with much of central and northern Sweden being dry too. Increasing winds in Norway with rain in the south later.

Friday
Some rain in northwest Spain, but otherwise much of Portugal and Spin will be dry and fair with plenty of sunshine. Staying fair through the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Scattered showers in western Italy, fair for most with plenty of sunshine. Greece should be dry with sunshine too. Turkey may have a shower in the west and south but should be mostly dry.
Windy and wet across France, the rain heavy in the north where there will be gales. Drier in the far south of France. Staying wet and windy for the Low Countries, with rain pushing into Germany and strong winds here. Fair for Poland but winds increasing later. Hungary may be damp in the east, but rain affects Austria and Switzerland.
Windy in Denmark and turning wet. Breezy for Sweden and rather cloudy here. Patchy rain and sleet in the Baltic States with snow showers in Finland. Windy in much of Norway with snow in the south, drier to the north.
