Risk of rain for southwest Spain and Portugal


Tuesday
High pressure over central Europe maintains settled and mild weather. Rain in western and southern Portugal later today, some spots also arriving in southern Spain. The rest of Spain and Portugal should stay fair though. Sunshine and dry weather in Italy and Greece. Turkey should be dry with sunshine.
France will be dry with sunny spells and this dry weather continues in the Low Countries and Germany. Poland stays dry with more sunshine. Apart from a scattered showers it should be dry in Hungary. Austria and Switzerland remain dry with sunny spells.
Denmark will be dry with sunny spells. Dry too in the Baltic States and Finland. Sweden remains dry with sunny spells. Cloudier in western parts of Norway, some drizzle on coasts and hills.


Wednesday
Some showery rain toward the south of Spain and Portugal, but much of Iberia will be dry. Sunshine through the Mediterranean, perhaps a shower in eastern areas near Cyprus. Sunny and warm for Italy, the Balkans and Greece. Rain and mountain snow for northern Turkey, heavy in places.
Fine weather continues with sunshine for France, the Low Countries, Germany and Alpine regions. Eastern-central Europe also stays beneath high pressure with dry conditions through Poland, Czechia, Hungary and Romania.
Southwesterly winds push mild air through Scandinavia, with rain moving into western Norway, turning heavier with time. Meanwhile Sweden and Finland will be dry. Likewise staying fine for Denmark and the Baltic states.
