Dry, bright and unseasonably warm conditions over Scandinavia
Sunday A dry day again for much of Spain and Portugal with an improving day across the Balearic Islands. Italy and the islands still being influenced by low pressure so seeing cloudier skies and longer spells of rain as well as feeling chilly. Rain turning more showery across Greece with some rain pushing into Turkey. Largely dry and fine for France but could see cloudier skies further east with patchy light rain about too. Cloud and patchy rain also across the Low Countries, Germany as well as the Alpine Countries. Some heavier spells of rain likely through parts of Hungary. Rain becoming more peristent across north Poland later too. Drier further south here. High pressure remains in situ over Scandinavia therefore plenty of dry weather about and light breezes. A brisker southerly wind towards Norwegian coasts. Mainly dry and fine through the Baltic States.
Monday Some cloud and patchy rain for Portugal and western Spain. Staying dry to the east and for the Balearic Islands. Showery outbreaks of rain, some locally heavy, affect Italy, the Balkans, Greece and western and northern Turkey. Dry and fine for southeastern Turkey. Some showers for eastern France and the Low Countries. Staying drier to the west. Showers too affect central and southern Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, southern Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. Dry and fine for northern parts of Germany and Poland. Continuing dry and fine under the influence of high pressure for Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and the Baltic States. Some cloud developing over western coasts of Norway with the chance of some drizzly rain. Cloud too building later over the Baltic States.
