Heavy rain continues across the central Mediterranean

Monday
A windy day across Spain with frequent showers pushing on to northern coasts, otherwise mostly dry. Portugal will have a better day though again showery rain towards the north. Overnight rain moving in to the Balearic islands, rain turning heavy here through the day. Outbreaks of rain moving into Corsica and Sardinia with cloud increasing through Italy though staying mostly dry here. Outbreaks of rain over the Greek islands and onto the western Turkish resorts.
A wet and breezy day across France and the Low Countries though it should dry and brighten up for some as the day progresses. Showery rain also affecting much of Germany and Switzerland. Austria should remain largely dry along with eastern Europe.
Staying breezy through Scandinavia though largely dry, however, outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow will affect southern regions of Norway. Outbreaks of rain across much of Denmark. Cloudy and damp for the Baltics, southern Sweden and coastal areas of Finland, otherwise dry.

Tuesday
Showers ease back along northern coasts of Spain. Dry and fine elsewhere here along with Portugal. Staying rather cloudy across the Balearics though with fewer showers expected. Unsettled through the central Mediterranean as low pressure continues to bring heavy rain and blustery winds to southern Italy and the islands. An improved day for Greece but still some showers about. Showery rain also affecting parts of Turkey.
A let wet day for France and the Low Countries, though mist and fog patches will be about and likely to struggle to lift through the day making it feel chilly. Cloudy with rain pushing across Germany and Switzerland. Largely dry for Austria, eastern Europe and much of northern Italy.
Windy with some showery rain, sleet and snow through Norway and Sweden where it will be cold. Any rain being confined to western parts of Denmark though staying cloudy and cool here. Wintry showers also expected across the Baltic States. Largely dry but cloudy across Finland.
