Mild for much of central and eastern Europe, wet to the west


Wednesday
Rain for Portugal and northwest Spain today. Scattered showers in centreal parts of Spain but drier and brighter to the east. The balearics will be dry and bright too with good spells of sunshine here. Showers affecting northern Italy, but drier and brighter to the south. Greece sees a few showers in the west but dry in the east. Fair in Turkey with good spells of sunshine.
Cloud and some rain in western and northern parts of France but drier to the south. Patchy drizzle in the Low Countries whilst Germany will be dry with some brighter skies. Drizzle in Poland and Hungary as well as parts of Switzerland. Much milder in central and southern Europe than recent weeks.
Breezy and milder in Denmark and dry too. Staying dry in the Baltic States with some bright spells here. Dry too in Fin;and with broken cloud. Sweden is likely to be breezy and rather mild and staying dry. Cloud and rain as well as stronger winds to the west.


Thursday
A wet day in Spain as fronts pass eastwards. The rain will be heavy at times in central and eastern areas. Drier in Portugal with some bright spells coming through here. Italy has some showers to the north but the south should be dry and warm again. Staying fine through Greece and Turkey with more sunshine to come.
Rain affects the west of France but the east should be dry. Breezy but dry for the Low Countries and Germany. Cloudier with a few spots of rain in Poland and Hungary. Austria and Switzerland will be cloudy with some rain at times.
Drier and milder weather for Denmark. Staying mostly dry in the Baltic States and generally dry for Finland too. Mild here. Dry in Sweden with some sunny spells to the south and remaining mild. The mild air persists across Norway with cloud and rain to the west but drier to the east.
