Rain and showers to the north, mostly fair with good spells of sunshine to the south

A mostly dry day in Portugal and Spain with lots of sunshine and warm conditions. Staying fair through the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia as well as much of Italy. However, there is the chance of an afternoon thunderstorm in central and northern Italy. Greece should be dry with lots of sunshine and staying fair across most of Turkey, scattered showers in the east.
Cloud and some showery outbreaks of rain in central and northern France. Southern parts of France will be drier with some good spells of sunshine. Cloud and some showers in the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland. Heavier and thundery showers in southern Poland, Austria and Hungary, although brighter in Switzerland.
Cloud and showery periods of rain in Denmark. This cloud and the showery rain associated with it affect the baltic States and Finland too. Bright for Sweden and Norway with some showery periods of rain.

Fair for Spain and Portugal today. Plenty of sunshine and feeling warm too. Showers in Italy, a few of them heavy in central and northern areas. Greece should be dry with long spells of sunshine and it will be remaining fine across Turkey.
Cloud and some showery spots of rain in the far north of France, but fine for most with good spells of sunshine. Cloud and the risk of some showers in northern Germany with heavier, thundery rain extending from the German-Polish border into Switzerland. Eastern Poland and Hungary should have sunny spells but also a few showers.
Low pressure west of Norway gives heavy showers and stronger winds here. Mostly dry in Denmark with good spells of sunshine. Showers in the Baltic States, but mostly dry through Finland. Some rain affecting Sweden, the most persistent in the south.
